The clearest, brightest most breathtaking picture is here in the form of LED Backlight LCD HDTVs.  The big LED players include Samsung, LG, Sony Bravia, Sharp Aquos, and Toshiba Regza.  Reportedly, LG is upping the ante with their new LG Backlit LCD TV and with that they are hoping to squeeze into the number two LCD Television spot in the world just behind Samsung and just ahead of Sony.  That is a big target for LG but with the global economy showing signs of improving, LG may just be able to reach their goal of selling 3 to 5 million LED Backlit LCDs in 2010 and thus taking up a large part of the 20% LCD market.  Sony Bravia, Samsung and Toshiba Regza won’t be just standing by as they produce high quality LED Backlight TVs.  Stay tuned as we see how the rest of 2009 develops in the LED HDTV market.
